Consisting of four single phase models – 6kW, 10kW, 13kW and 17kW – the Aerona³ R32 heat pumps provide heating and hot water for properties. Each unit operates at high efficiencies even when the external temperatures are low, making for a cost-effective renewable alternative to traditional off-gas heating methods. Monobloc in design, the Aerona³ R32 is suitable for use with S-Plan heating control systems and is simple to work with for installation and maintenance. The Aerona³ R32 models have a compact footprint and operate with low noise levels. They therefore have minimal impact on their surrounds both aesthetically and acoustically, something which is of great benefit to end-users.

Air Source Heat Pump

How does it work?

An air source heat pump is an externally sited unit which transfers heat from the outside air to water, which can heat your rooms via conventional radiators and/or an underfloor heating installation. It can also heat water and store it in a hot water cylinder to supply hot taps, showers and baths and any other household requirement.

Air source heat pumps are a low-carbon way of heating your home. They work by absorbing heat from the outside air and boosting it to a higher temperature using a compressor. They can provide heat for your radiators, underfloor heating, or hot water. Air source heat pumps are more energy-efficient than conventional heating systems, such as gas or oil boilers, and can lower your fuel bills and carbon emissions. There are two types of air source heat pumps: air-to-water and air-to-air.
